Nintendo Switch 2 Black Friday UK: prices and deals
Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November, and Cyber Monday is Monday 30 November. Nintendo had not announced a UK Black Friday offer on Switch 2 as of 6 November 2026. The console costs £419.99 on Nintendo's UK store. In Black Friday 2025, UK shops cut Switch 2 bundles by about 3% to 10%, and the cheapest console was £385.
How much is a Switch 2 in the UK?
Nintendo's UK store sells the Switch 2 for £419.99 and three bundles from £449.99. These prices come from the My Nintendo Store UK, checked on 6 November 2026.

Nintendo's UK bundles page also lists a Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition, released on 29 October 2026. The store page did not show a price for it.
Why is the Switch 2 dearer than last year?
Nintendo raised the UK price by £24 on 1 September 2026. At launch in June 2025 the console cost £395.99, and the Mario Kart World bundle cost £429.99, per Gamereactor. Nintendo Life reported the rise to £419.99, which Nintendo's UK store announced on X.
This matters for Black Friday. A 2026 discount starts from a higher price, so a cut of the same size in pounds still leaves you paying more than in 2025.
What did UK shops do on Switch 2 in Black Friday 2025?
Switch 2 discounts in its first Black Friday were small, and most came as bundles. Nintendo Life listed these UK deals on 28 November 2025:

What is known for Black Friday 2026?
No Switch 2 Black Friday price is confirmed as of 6 November 2026. On that date, the My Nintendo Store UK home page showed no Black Friday sale. Nintendo had not announced its own UK dates.

The Switch 2 average of £402 is already below Nintendo's £419.99 price. A small cut from £419.99 can be no real saving.
Original Switch or Switch 2 on Black Friday?
The original Switch is much cheaper, but it is the older machine. Nintendo's UK store sells the original Switch with Neon Joy-Con for £259.99, and a Ring Fit Adventure set for £309.99, per the store's Switch page on 6 November 2026.
Which? says prices of the older Switch models have fallen a lot since the Switch 2 launched. Its cheapest prices for the Switch Lite (£164) and the original Switch (£187) are less than half the Switch 2 price.
Choose by the games you want:
- Switch 2: needed for Switch 2 games such as Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza. Nintendo says some original Switch games may not work fully on Switch 2.
- Original Switch, OLED or Lite: cheaper, and plays the original Switch library.
How to check a Switch 2 deal is real
A Switch 2 deal is real only if the price is lower than the console usually sells for. Check these four things.
- Compare with the six-month price. Which? found an average of £402, so judge a deal against that, not against £419.99.
- Price the bundle in parts. Which? says buying the Switch 2 alone is the best deal at the moment, and most bundles do not save much. Add the console and game prices yourself.
- Check what is in the box. Some bundles include a game download, Nintendo Switch Online or extras such as a camera. Check that you want each item.
- Do not feel rushed. Which? found that every Black Friday deal it checked in 2025 was the same price or cheaper at other times of the year.
