Cyber Monday is the Monday after Black Friday, so the date moves each year. The table shows the three most recent ones next to the Black Friday date.

How Cyber Monday differs from Black Friday in the UK

In the UK the two days now blur into one sale. Amazon describes Cyber Monday as the final day of its Black Friday Week, with more than a million deals still on across all categories.

MoneySavingExpert says Black Friday is no longer just a day, because many shops launch deals in the weeks before it. Which? says the same: many retailers start discounts earlier in the month.

So the real difference is timing. Black Friday is the headline day. Cyber Monday is the last day to buy at the sale price, and shops use it to clear what is left.

Which UK retailers run Cyber Monday?

Most big UK online shops run some kind of Cyber Monday offer, and each one decides its own rules. Which? lists 2026 sale coverage for Amazon, Currys, John Lewis, Apple, Samsung and Dyson.

When do Cyber Monday deals end?

Every shop sets its own end time, and none is the same. Amazon did not give an exact end time for its 2025 sale, only that the week ran until 1 December.

Do not assume midnight. Some offers end when stock runs out, and some end earlier in the day. Check the timer or the terms on the product page, and buy before the last day if you can.

How to check a Cyber Monday deal is real

A real deal is cheaper than the price the shop charged in the past, not cheaper than a crossed-out price that nobody paid. Which? found that 100% of the Black Friday deals it analysed in 2025 were cheaper or the same price at other times of the year. It compared prices in the six months before and after the sales weekend.

Use this short check:

1. Look up the price history. A price tracker shows what the item cost last month and last year.
2. Question the "was" price. An RRP that no shop charges is a weak comparison.
3. Check the seller. On marketplaces, make sure you know who sells and ships the item.
4. Do not rush. Which? advises that you do not let yourself feel rushed.
