How drop and restock alerts reach you
Alerts reach you in two places: Discord and the Paragn iPhone app.
In Discord, an alert appears in the channel for that kind of product. Discord then sends a push notification to your phone if you turned them on.
In the Paragn iPhone app, Network members get restock alerts and personal keyword alerts. You choose the words that matter to you, such as a set name or a product type. The app then alerts you only for matching products. The app also has a release calendar and an inventory tracker. The tracker works out profit after fees, postage and refunds.
A free app account gives you manual inventory tracking. It does not give you the full alert feed.
How to set up Discord notifications so you see drops
Discord can hide alerts if you leave the default settings on. Five minutes of setup fixes this.
- Turn on mobile push. Open Discord on your phone. Open Settings, then Notifications, and turn on push notifications.
- Set the server to all messages. Long-press the server icon, choose Notifications, and pick "All Messages" for the channels you care about. Leave the busy chat channels on "Only @mentions".
- Mute what you do not need. Mute channels for sets or retailers you do not buy. A quiet phone means you notice the alerts that matter.
- Check Do Not Disturb and Focus. Allow Discord through your phone's Focus mode if you want alerts at night or at work.
- Add keyword alerts in the app. Network members can set personal keyword alerts in the iPhone app. These work well for one set or one product, such as an Elite Trainer Box.

What an alert cannot do
An alert tells you that stock is live. It does not do anything else.
- It does not reserve stock. Other buyers see the same page at the same time.
- It does not guarantee a purchase. Stock can sell out before you open the link.
- It does not change retailer rules. Shops set their own limits per customer, and they can cancel orders.
- It does not predict restocks. No one knows when a retailer will restock. Be careful of any server that names a day or a time in advance.
