## What toys drop at Smyths?

MoneySavingExpert lists Disney, Nintendo and Hot Wheels among the 2026 brands. Examples include a Nintendo Super Mario holiday advent calendar at £19.99 (was £30) and Monopoly F1 Edition at £34.99 (was £39.99). Across the sample it checked, the smallest discount was 4% and the typical discount was 19%. Many items were far below "up to 50%", so check the actual saving.

## LEGO and Pokémon at Smyths

Smyths sells both, but neither is certain to be discounted. Smyths has not announced a 2026 LEGO or Pokémon discount list as of 6 November 2026. LEGO sets are often cut at retailers during Black Friday, but Smyths has not published which ones for 2026. Pokémon cards usually stay near RRP.

## In store or online?

Smyths sells in stores and online. MoneySavingExpert reports that the 2026 sale is available in both. Some past in-store offers were separate from the online sale. In 2024 and 2025, MoneySavingExpert reports that Smyths gave £5 off when you spent £50 to £99.99 in store, and £10 off when you spent £100 or more.

A similar in-store spend offer is not announced for 2026 as of 6 November 2026. Check the Smyths website or ask in store.

## Does Smyths price match?

Smyths is on the John Lewis list of 25 retailers it matches. That means John Lewis will match a Smyths price on a qualifying item sold directly by Smyths, if you claim within 7 days. Smyths has no published price match scheme of its own as of 6 November 2026. Our [UK shops that price match](/blog/uk-shops-that-price-match) guide lists the shops that do publish one.

## How to check a Smyths deal is real

A real deal is cheaper than the price the toy normally sells for. Use these checks.

1. **Look at the "was" price.** MoneySavingExpert's sample showed typical savings of 19%, not 50%. Work out the percentage yourself.
2. **Compare other shops.** Argos and The Entertainer sell many of the same lines. Which? has found that most Black Friday deals are matched or beaten at other times of the year. See our [Black Friday 2026 guide](/blog/black-friday-2026-uk).
3. **Check the stock.** Popular toys sell out before Black Friday itself.
